From Service to Leadership: GM Nestor Carlon Continues to Rise as a Cooperative Leader

For GM Nestor P. Carlon Jr., leadership in the cooperative movement is not simply about holding a position—it is about building trust, serving others, and turning opportunities into meaningful action.

The General Manager of the PSHS-EVC Consumers Cooperative, sir Nestor has once again earned recognition for his leadership, being named 2026 Huwarang RCO President for the second consecutive year. The distinction reflects his continuing involvement and service in the cooperative sector, particularly in his role as President of RCO-CMPL 8.

Adding another milestone to his leadership journey, the Regional Clustered Organization of CMPL was also recognized with “May Mataas na Karangalan bilang RCO” distinction, further highlighting his contributions as a regional cooperative leader within the CMPL cluster.

His leadership journey reached another significant point with his election as Vice-President of the Sectoral Apex Organization–CMPL Cluster (SAO-CMPL). The new responsibility places him in a broader platform where he can contribute to the coordination, development, and advancement of cooperatives belonging to the Consumers, Marketing, Producers, and Logistics sector.

As he assumes his new role in the SAO-CMPL, his journey enters another chapter—one that brings greater responsibility, wider representation, and more opportunities to contribute to the cooperative movement.

From being recognized as Huwarang RCO President for the second consecutive year to becoming a leader at the sectoral apex level, sir Nestor continues to demonstrate that meaningful cooperative leadership begins with a willingness to serve—and grows through the trust of the people and cooperatives one represents.
