The Scholar’s Plate Program is one of the flagship community service initiatives of the PSHS-EVC Consumers Cooperative, created to help address food insecurity among indigent scholars of the Philippine Science High School–Eastern Visayas Campus.
Through the program, qualified scholar-beneficiaries are provided with free meals daily, helping ensure that they receive a nutritious meal while pursuing rigorous studies in Pisay.
Established alongside the Cooperative in 2016, The Scholar’s Plate reflects the Cooperative’s commitment to putting the well-being of its members and community at the heart of cooperative service. More than providing food, the program seeks to lessen the financial burden and worry of parents who strive to provide for their children’s daily needs while they study away from home, support students’ health and well-being, and help them focus on their education.

The Fuller Purse Program is a livelihood and income-generation initiative of the PSHS-EVC Consumers Cooperative designed to create additional earning opportunities for members and community partners.
Through a concessionaire and consignment arrangement, the Cooperative provides opportunities for individuals to offer their products within the Cooperative’s canteen, helping them generate additional income while expanding the variety of goods and services available to the PSHS-EVC community.
More than an income-generating initiative, the program embodies the cooperative principle of helping one another prosper—creating opportunities, strengthening livelihoods, and putting more into the purses of those who participate.
